Can I combine the rebate with the loan?
Eligible concession card holders can generally combine a Home Energy Support rebate with a Sustainable Household Scheme loan. We'll confirm exactly what applies to your situation.
Can I still get a loan for solar panels?
Standard Sustainable Household Scheme loans no longer cover solar panels. Solar loans remain available specifically for eligible concession card holders.
What's the interest rate on the Sustainable Household Scheme loan?
General applicants currently pay 3% interest. Eligible concession card holders may still access zero-interest loans under the Home Energy Support Program.
How does the battery rebate work?
Under the Next Gen Energy Storage Program, the rebate is applied directly to your quote by an approved retailer — you don't need to claim it separately afterwards.
I live just outside the ACT — am I eligible?
These ACT programs apply to ACT properties only. If you're just across the border in NSW, you won't be eligible for the ACT schemes, but a comparable NSW incentive may apply instead — contact us and we'll point you in the right direction.
