These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the website polyengineering.com.au and any services provided by Poly Engineering Pty Ltd ("Poly Engineering", "we", "us", "our"). By using our website, submitting an enquiry, or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our website or services.
You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, or restrict or inhibit the use of, this website by any other party. Content on this website is provided for general information purposes and does not constitute professional advice specific to your property or circumstances.
Any quote, price estimate or indicative cost provided via our website, over the phone, or by email is an estimate only, based on the information available at the time. Final pricing may vary following an on-site assessment, and is subject to confirmation in a formal quote or agreement before work begins.
Quotes are generally valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated, and may be affected by changes in equipment pricing, site conditions, or scope of work.
Submitting an enquiry or requesting a callback through this website does not constitute a confirmed booking. Bookings are confirmed once both parties have agreed on scope, pricing and scheduling, typically following direct communication with our team.
Payment terms, including any deposit requirements, milestone payments, or final payment on completion, will be set out in your individual quote or service agreement. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, invoices are payable within the timeframe stated on the invoice. Late payments may incur additional administrative costs or affect the scheduling of future work.
We understand that plans can change. Please notify us as early as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule a booked service. Cancellations made with insufficient notice may be subject to a cancellation fee to cover costs already incurred, such as materials ordered or technician time reserved.
Equipment installed as part of our services (such as solar panels, inverters and batteries) is covered by the relevant manufacturer's warranty, the terms of which are provided separately at the time of installation. Poly Engineering provides a workmanship warranty on installation labour as set out in your service agreement.
Warranties do not cover damage caused by misuse, unauthorised modification, third-party interference, or events outside our reasonable control (such as severe weather or acts of nature).
Poly Engineering carries out work as a licensed electrical contractor and SAA-accredited designer/installer, in accordance with applicable Australian standards and regulations. Certain services (such as electrical testing and tagging, or fire safety inspections) are performed to the relevant Australian Standards in effect at the time of service.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Poly Engineering's liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of this website or our services is limited to the resupply of the relevant service, or the cost of having the service resupplied, at our discretion. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services or legal requirements. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
